A little bit of excitement over here in my office, as the last edition of the X-Press Fashion Magazine is out!! Yours truly writes an article once a quarter for this print publication, you can pick up a copy where X-Press is distributed, BUT if you don’t feel like venturing out into the cold then it’s lovingly served it up online here for you: X-Press Fashion Magazine – Winter 2012.

We all know the importance of taking the time to exercise; it makes us feel calmer, look better and is vital for overall wellbeing. As many of you know, my personal favourite way to exercise is through the magic of yoga classes. I’ve also recently started a beginners pilates course at the Pilates Fitness Institute of WA – results of that one coming soon!

Something I also enjoy about heading to get my downward dog on, other than the fantastic benefits I experience, is getting kitted out in my exercise gear. I find it helps me get in the ‘zone’ and makes me much less likely to forgo the blissful stretching in favour of vegan chocolate and reruns of ‘The Bachelor’. There’s just something about cute fitness clothing that lights my fire!

Have you noticed that it’s starting to get gloomy in Perth? I’m pulling out my jumpers, turning on my oven to cook veggie lasagna (yay!) and wearing darker toned makeup.
