Ha! Hero product to look after my skin. Something for ‘me’. Yeah right, I haven’t even looked in the mirror since having my girls.

  2. Amy says:

My hero product is something that I just can’t live without and best of all it’s free……. WATER…. It is something that is cheap yet it makes you feel amazing. It is good for your insides and your outsides, such as improving skin quality and your general well being becomes so much better.

  3. Anai says:

I can’t choose between MAC’s Fast Response Eye Cream (caffeinated cream that gets rid of puffy eyes and dark shadows almost instantly), MAC’s Fix + / MAC’s Mineralize Charged Water (both fabulous for prepping your skin before applying foundation and spraying afterwards to set your makeup without looking oily or cakey). I know they’re not necessarily skin care, but since I wear a lot of makeup I like it to sit well! :] xxx.

  4. Amy K says:

The only product I 100% cannot live without is Dermalogica’s Super Rich Repair. I would be a 10% less happy human without it!

My cant-live-without is a nappy rash cream! Amolin is made for sore babies bums and does amazing things for sore cracked lips. SO good.

My hero product will have to be Lucas’ Papaw ointment! Not only can you use it on your lips, but it’s great to moisturise the elbows during the cold winter months!

My hero product would be my scandal bb cream. It’s light enough on the skin but has enough coverage for my skin. It’s build able on blemishes so I can use it as a concealer. It adapts to my skin tone after a few minutes of application. Plus in the long run it has evened my skin tone.

  16. mai says:

My hero product would be bb cream. You can use it as concealer, it is light, adapts to skin and evens my skin tone.

  17. Katherine says:

Coconut oil is my hero product. Great body moisturiser, smooths the hair, mix it with salt and oats for a scrub, mix it with honey for a mask, good enough to eat (and you can do that too!).

  18. Sandra says:

My hero product is Dermalogica daily microfoliant, it gives you a lovely clean feel without irritation. I would love to try to Clarisonic to get a deeper clean though!

Suncream! Australia has the highest skin cancer rate in the world, and the sun really ages your skin, so I dont leave home without it

  22. Jo says:

Hypothyroidism has made my skin look extremely aged but thanks to Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque my skin looks well hydrated and healthy.

  23. Jasmine says:

    I use Bio Oil religiously

  24. My hero product is my Skinstitut L-Lactic Body Wash – I love this amazing AHA body wash because it keeps my skin in tip-top condition. I never bothered to care too much for the skin on my body, but after investing in a quality body wash, I soon discovered how beneficial it was. Infused with Lactic Acid, a chemical exfoliant, this body wash gently sloughs away dead skin cells every time I wash. It leaves my skin smoother, softer and more radiant. It also keeps the hair follicles clear and unclogged so that I donโ€™t develop any nasty ingrowns or rashes from shaving. It’s improved the skin on my body so much that it looks and feels healthier and more youthful.

  25. Kaz Robinson says:

Organic honey, to wash my face, leaves my skin feeling devine. My little girls use it too, though they mostly try to eat it!!! Blessings Kaz

  29. Natalie B says:

My hero product is WotNot 30+ organic sunscreen. My kids and I wear it every day and it’s our only must have product.

  30. Caroline says:

My favourite product would be Coconut Essence – Coconut water (HANDS DOWN!). Being quite active i used to depend on sugary electrolyte based drinks that packed a punch of calories (more than a can of coke!). Since replacing these with Coconut water I have noticed myself being able to rehydrate much faster and my skin is definitley thanking me for it – as a result i have less dry outs and have a clearer complexion. Proving coconut water is amazeballs at keeping your body in tip top condition =)

  31. Kaylie says:

My hero product is Weleda sea buckthorn creamy body wash, an organic wash that feels like I’m immersing myself in a delicious citrus sundae, and it leaves my skin feeling and smelling devine!

Moo Goo milk shampoo is my hero product right now. Phthalate Free, fragrance free and full of essential oils. Leaves my hair soft, healthy and beautiful every time!

  37. Camille says:

Rapid Clear Fight & Fade Gel! I wouldn’t be without it – the only problem is that they don’t sell it in London so I have to get my Mum to send it over or stock up with I’m home!

  38. Ash says:

    I love hair mousse,
My hair is long, I wear it loose,
Mousse makes my hair wavy, full,
Without it, it looks flat and dull.

  39. Jo says:

Moo Goo Anti-Aging Cream is the best I have found. They don’t hype up their products and they actually work.

  40. Hayley says:

Dr Lewinns Facial Polishing Gel not only wakes my skin up in the morning but scrubs the day away at night. Perfect!

My hero product is virgin coconut oil. I mix it with a sensitive skin lotion like cetaphil and moisturize 2x daily. Makes my skin so soft!

  47. Linda says:

Hero products do wonders to the skin and make you glow from inside out. The A’kin Instant Radiance Facial Masque is magic in a bottle, with ROSEHIP and POMEGRANATE, it’s no wonder this stuff really does work. After a long haul of flights, or a dramatic day at work, popping this on makes my skin feel ‘baby’ smooth and looking hydrated. LOVE LOVE LOVE, this product could also be used with the Clarisonic. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  48. Raychael Case says:

Well as corny as this sounds, my hero product is my well trained husband. When you have three children under three, there is very little time or money for beauty treatments or maintenance but as most would agree, there is definitely a need for them. My husband, Mark, has learnt how to give facials, manicures and pedicures. He can dye my hair like a professional and knows his way around a GHD. Surprisingly, he is also an expert waxer and even managed to give me a half decent brazilian, in the hospital about an hour before I gave birth to my ten week premmie baby (clearly done for hygiene, distraction and taking advantage of the one shot of pethidine, rather than vanity reasons).

Rather impressive considering Mark came to me thinking toilets were self cleaning. His first attempt to impress me, saw him wash and spin dry my entire โ€œdry clean onlyโ€ working wardrobe. Sadly my clothing was only good for Barbie dolls once he had finished it. On our first Valentine’s Day, Mark sourced the recipe for my favourite meal, Steak Dianne and mistook three entire garlics as three cloves of garlic. Needless to say, this is no longer my favourite meal and we had to sell our unit for the smell.

If I had to choose an actual hero product over my rather useful husband, I donโ€™t think I could!

  49. Fi says:

Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser, after years of searching for a good cleanser for congested and acne prone skin, I have finally found one!

  50. Marina says:

Jurlique Calendula Cream. Always soothes my skin and I love using natural products.
