Rahua Shampoo and Conditioner (for healthy, lustrous hair!)
Allow me to introduce the best non-conventional shampoo & conditioner yet. I was reluctant to be hopeful prior to trying this 100% organic, natural and sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner duo, having been promised the world with other good-for-you haircare ranges and experiencing lacklustre results. As such, some more generic and chemical-laden prods had sneakily made their way back into my routine. Until today!
The amber coloured, mildly scented Rahua Shampoo is a joyful first step. Many natural shampoos I’ve tried make the hair feel kind of ‘tacky’ when you first start using them after a period of using silicone-based haircare, but this just gets right down to work and feels just as smooth and silky on the hair as the bad stuff. Win!

The Rahua Conditioner reminds me a bit of custard, and is equally easy to apply and rinse out. Leaving my hair silky soft (softer than most “normal” conditioners!), smooth and shiny. It also contains quinoa and coconut & shea butter!
In other feel good news, every purchase of Rahua products supports sustainable industry run by local Amazonian women.
This duo is a definite winner, and one I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and again! The only restricting factor is the cost, at $40 per bottle of both shampoo and conditioner, but I’d recommend that anyone who is interested in extremely high-quality organic haircare give this a go at least once! 🙂

I’ve tried some sample satchels of this as was pleased with my soft bouncy hair afterwards – but the price tag – ouch! Gets rave reviews in the US all the same!

I bought Rahua shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment a few months ago and after the first wash fell completely in love with it. My hair had volume and bounce but was clean and soft and tamed and moisturised, all the wonderful things I’ve long been on the search for! But after about 6 weeks of use that all changed and my hair had never been so disgusting. It was lank and greasy and dark (I’m naturally quite light blonde) and despite my regular weekly apple cider vinegar rinses it only got worse. As soon as I stopped using Rahua my hair went back to normal and felt clean again. I’ve since tried to use Rahua intermittently with my other shampoos and even after one wash it has that same yucky feeling. I’ve also read of the same thing happening to other users, great results first up but some kind of build up/tolerance occurs after a few weeks.
I should also say that I tried both the regular and the voluminous duo and both had the same effect.
I’m sorry for all the negativity, I hope you have more success than I did! 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing your experience using Rahua. At Flora Organica we believe in full transparency about the products we sell and peoples experiences using them. We don’t believe in only saying how awesome all our products are because what works wonders for some, doesn’t suit others.
I posted a product review on the Voluminous set myself on the site some time ago and admitted that it didn’t suit my hair. The citrus oils were too harsh for my fine chemically treated hair so i couldn’t use that particular shampoo, though the conditioner works a treat.
I personally use the regular version of the shampoo and conditioner from the range and am always really pleased with the results as is the case for many users, but we do understand that we are all different.
We are looking at other hair lines to introduce into the store so hopefully we will have something that you will love soon!
