My best tip is to be prepared so it stops you reaching for convenience products which are choc full of nasties! Plus enough time to wake up slowly and have a good morning routine.

  2. Jessie says:

A morning routine of lemon water, a dairy-free probiotic, and 20 minutes of yoga.

  3. A big glass of refreshing water, some stretches to wake up the body followed by delicious, healthy oats for breakfast.

  4. Jodie says:

Ocean swim – followed by lemon \ sea salt water, meditation\yoga and green juice.

  5. jenny says:

i love the cute earthen bowl!
my tip to start the day in a non-toxic way is to drink lots of water, i try to drink the majority of my water in the morning and before midday so it doesn’t interfere with my sleep. a good breakfast is perfect too, i try to have something that ticks all the boxes – delicious, nutritious and easy. something like an overnight chocolate chia oatmeal pudding with fruit and nuts.
lovely prizes, would love to win!

Best start to the day is a lemon juice in a green tea. Detox and antioxidants in one drink.

  7. Megan says:

a cup of green tea using rain water and fresh eggs from our chooks

  8. Carla Holmes says:

Open the window wide as you go about your routine to start the day – or even better spend a few minutes in the garden, either pottering about or drinking you tea or juice. Great way to help remind you that no matter what the day brings you are connected to the Earth.

  9. Laura says:

I’ve found that starting your morning with a big green vegetable juice is the best way to cleanse your system, intake a whole lot of nutrients and give you a huge energy boost. Then continue with copious amounts of lemon water, a salad for lunch and absolutely no caffeine or sugar. I always have a radiant day when I follow these steps.

  10. Karen says:

A fresh green smoothie starts my day…

  11. Kaz says:

A glass of water with a tbsn of chia seeds (leave to soak for 10mins) with a squeeze of lemon juice. Stir, drink, enjoy xxx

  12. Michelle Craig says:

Warm water and fresh lemon juice starts my day

  13. Kelly says:

I’m a very busy Mum, so I try to do things to look after myself that are easy to fit in! A dry body brush before my morning shower helps to detox, stimulate circulation and all kinds of other good things! Moisturise while in the shower with pure coconut oil, and massage it in at the same time. Lemon water, or water with a spoon of good quality apple cider vinegar and green tea are wonderful. Then I love my own special muesli blend that I make full of nuts, seeds and organic oats with fresh fruit and coconut yoghurt (non dairy) !

  14. Amy Joy says:

A beautiful big bowel of fresh fruit salad! Grab all the seasonal fruit (organic if you can) and chop them up, toss them together and there you have yourself and filling, raw, delicious and nutritious start to your detox!

  15. Emma says:

A big glass of water and a morning run 🙂

  16. Kelly says:

Being in the first trimester of my first pregnancy I’m struggling to find the motivation and energy to keep my usual healthy routines up (warm lemon juice & coconut oil) along with probiotic and a walk, so at the moment just starting the day with a cold water splash on the face and a homemade protein ball is good enough for me!

  17. Sonja says:

Stay in bed for that little bit longer and do some stretches and breathing. Also if you’re feeling like you might not last the day, make a pact with a friend or your partner to have a non-toxic day. That way you can support each other if you feel like cheating!

  18. Dianne says:

The only way to start a non-toxic day is to make sure you have had an organic and non toxic day…. the day before, with plenty of sleep & a glass of water before bed. Sleeping on organic bedding would be even better!

  19. Kate says:

I love to go for a run to help me gather my thoughts and energise myself for the day ahead! After that lemon in warm water and a big healthy breakfast with a cup of green tea to start the day right.

  20. Kam says:

I start my non-toxic day with dry body brushing and a mug of warm water with lemon juice! 🙂

  21. Kristie says:

    Kiss my hubby
Go outside, breath the fresh air & stretch.
Drink a tall glass of water (with lemon slices).
Make myself and my hubby a cup of dandelion tea with soy.
Cuddle & kiss my 4 kiddies as they get up, pack them healthy lunches and deliver them to school. Munch an apple or banana on the way 🙂

  22. Beck says:

Meditation and daily affirmations first thing followed by stretches or a bit of yoga.

Then a healthy breakfast of muesli with fruit and rice milk 🙂

  23. Erika says:

Get up, unlock back door. Sit on a swing chair with my 19mo and look for birds. He loves it and it is such a joy. Peace, happiness, togetherness, routine.

  24. Elle says:

Waking up to the sound of birds, making a Lemon water and drinking it while saying good morning to my 3 dogs & 3 horses.. Then checking the fruit trees and veggie patch for anything to harvest.

  25. Shannon says:

Wow, I wish I had time to do all the things listed above by other readers, but I don’t fancy waking up at 4am (7 – 8 hours sleep is essential for me). So my best tip for starting a non-toxic day is to rise with a positive attitude, followed by some dry body brushing and a cup of warm water with fresh lemon juice to kick start your metabolism! x

  26. Suzie Love says:

I would spend my morning barefoot, breathing in alot of the fresh air outside and keeping in mind not to think of all the toxic office politics before I get to work.

  27. I try and start each day with a glass of sassy water (lemon, cucumber, mint and ginger infused overnight) and a green smoothie.

  28. Adeline says:

    A BIG MASSIVE HUMUNGOUS SMILE!!!!

  29. Athanae says:

A love to dab a little bit of peppermint or orange oil on my temples in the morning – it really peps me up! Add a green smoothie and a swim in the ocean on the days i can manage that, and it’s a perfect start to the notox day 🙂

  30. Eva says:

Taking a moment to take a couple of deep breathes and a good stretch.

hop out of bed, get licked by the dog, drink my water, go for a walk, get licked again by my dog and start my day full of life 🙂

  32. K says:

    Hot water and lemon juice.

  33. Moana says:

I start the day with a prayer to give thanks for being alive with the abundance of health, strength and vitality that I feel. I start with a glass of warm water with sea salt, yoga (sun salutations) and then a glass with Apple cider vinegar and water. Next I make a green juice and then follow through with a bowl of homemade Rawsli and Almond milk. Yummo!

Healthy fruits, natural yogurt and grains to give you a natural start and energy boost.

  35. Meesha says:

A Beach Camp session including 15 mins of yoga and a swim followed by a green smoothie with fresh spinach from the garden and frozen fruits from the markets. I find I feel invigorated and my mind is calm for the day ahead.

Kisses and cuddles with my love and quiet moments telling him how much I love him, lovely big glass of water, an energising run, fruit and muesli for breakfast and I’m ready to start my day.
